Preferred Industry Experience:

3–6 years of experience in Risk Management / Investment Compliance / Investment Operations within Mutual Funds / AMCs (preferred), Banking, NBFCs, Insurance or Financial Services.

Qualifications: Graduate / MBA in Finance


Role Objective: To manage and monitor investment restrictions across Mutual Fund, ensure compliance with SEBI, SID and internal investment limits, implement checks and controls under POMA (Prevention of Market Abuse) framework, and provide support to Investment

Risk and Enterprise Risk Management activities.


Key Roles & Responsibilities:

• Create, configure and monitor investment restrictions in the Front Office System in line with regulatory requirements, SIDs and internal guidelines.

• Perform daily monitoring of active and passive breaches, including reporting, tracking and adherence to prescribed rebalancing timelines.

• Monitor near‑limit exposures on a daily basis and proactively alert the fund management team.

• Liaise with the Front Office System support team to resolve day‑to‑day queries related to investment restrictions.

• Implementation, regular checks and ongoing monitoring of POMA as per AMFI guidelines/SEBI framework including but not limited to identification and investigation of suspicious alerts.

• Coordinate with internal stakeholders for timely resolution and closure of breaches and POMA alerts.

• Maintain robust documentation, audit trails and tracker mechanisms, and handle audit queries related to investment restrictions, market abuse monitoring and any other risk reporting.

• Conduct periodic review and testing of Policies and SoPs related to investment restrictions and POMA framework.

• Assist in preparation of risk reports, related to Investment Risk and Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) activities.

• Conduct activities related to Liquidity Risk Management as per AMFI guidelines/SEBI framework

• Assist in preparation of reports and data for various Governance forums.


Knowledge:

• Fair understanding of Mutual Fund business and associated Regulations

• Working knowledge of Front Office / Order Management Systems used by AMCs

System Competencies:

• Good / Advanced level knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint

• Working knowledge of systems like Quantis, MFund Plus, Bloomberg AIM etc.
