Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Regional Internal Auditor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of auditing experience, preferably in the tractor finance or used commercial vehicle finance industry. This role involves conducting audits across branches within the assigned region to ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and risk control procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct regular and surprise branch audits within the assigned region.

Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management processes, and operational procedures.

Identify non-compliance, fraud, or operational inefficiencies and recommend corrective actions.

Prepare clear and concise audit reports for management with findings and recommendations.

Follow up on audit observations and ensure timely closure of audit points.

Review loan files, disbursement processes, KYC documentation, and collection procedures.

Ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines and company policies.

Liaise with regional and branch teams to provide guidance and promote a culture of compliance.

Assist in developing and improving audit procedures and internal audit tools.

Travel extensively within the assigned region for audits and verifications.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years of experience in internal auditing.

Strong knowledge of NBFC/RBI guidelines and lending practices.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and report-writing skills.

Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and audit management systems.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments.

Willingness to travel extensively.

Educational Qualification:

Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or related field.

CA Inter / CIA / CISA or similar certifications are an added advantage.
