Job title: Lead Analyst - EWS

Grade Band: VP1/ VP2

Location: Mumbai

Job Responsibilities:

Hands on Credit management of Sovereigns, Financial Institutions, Infra Loans, MSME, Credit Risk and ERM.

· Ensuring effective operationalisation of 200+ public and private EWS alerts implemented

· Submission of Alerts based analysis by the team to CAC/JEC on a periodic basis after identifying and classifying accounts that are High/Medium Risk by flagging them suitably to business and credit teams, receiving feedback and finalising the AUW/ASW list, put together meeting for the same, finalise/circulate MoM and track compliance with corrective action plans, wherever agreed upon and warranted

· Manage refinement, enhancement and maintenance of EWS signal library and application functionalities

· Ensure tracking of EWS alerts and cases and engage with Relationship and Credit teams to effectively keep tab of seemingly high risk alerts and for closure of cases in CMM in a timely manner.

· Ensure team coordinates effectively with Relationship and Credit teams for ascertaining accounts that may be tagged RFA/Fraud, that the team presents effective challenge to BU/Credit and brings such accounts for presentation to JEF/FMGC, finalise/circulate MoM of JEF and track compliance with corrective action plans, wherever agreed upon and warranted in JEF

· Ensuring that the team tracks cases created in the CMM so that they are appropriately acted upon and closed as per defined processes and management of assignment/remapping of cases, as an administrator, if and as the situation warrants. Wherever there are issues in accomplishing the same, ensure that the same is suitably taken up with internal/external stakeholders for resolution/redressal

· Ensuring periodic training is conducted by the team across user base at the Bank, continuous data availability/sharing and data correctness in the EWS system

· Maintain correct database of relevant end users of the EWS system and achieve automation of party mappings to the extent possible, keep parties monitored up to date and wherever required, seek updates to the user list manually from Business/Credit teams periodically.

· Engage with Tech teams both at the Bank and at the vendor’s end to ensure timely tech related implementation/support at either ends for application enhancements/upkeep

· Complete UAT of signals [refinements/rectifications] and accomplish completion of pending enhancements [reporting module, admin module, redistribution of weights, final score override] including their roll out in the production environment, if, when and as necessitated.

· Highlight in a timely manner to CW all production issues [including access issues] in the EWS App CMM, and ADMIN that hampers alert generation/case closures, engage with SDG to have them deal with ITG and with vendor for resolution of the same, complete UAT and production roll out

· Ensure the Segmental Triggers exercise is completed in a timely manner on an ongoing basis
