The candidate will lead and manage the organization's financial reporting, audit and controlling functions, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and providing strategic insights to support business growth. This role requires a strong background in financial governance, internal control frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting and Audit :
•
Monthly closing of books along with review of Balance sheet schedules etc.
•
Annual/Quarterly book closure in a timely and accurate manner
•
Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of statutory audits.
•
Oversee compliance with Accounting Standards and other statutory requirements.
•
Interact with statutory auditors to manage audit processes and address findings effectively.
•
Provide actionable recommendations for process improvement and risk mitigation based on audit results.
Financial Controls and Risks:
•
Manage and oversee all internal audit activities of the organization
•
Develop and maintain internal control systems to safeguard the company’s financial integrity.
•
Help in drafting Risk and Controls Matrix
Team Leadership:
•
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing audit and taxation team.
•
Foster a culture of compliance, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Taxation:
•
Manage and oversee all direct and indirect tax compliance, including GST, Income Tax, and TDS filings.
•
Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize tax liabilities in alignment with business goals.
•
Liaise with tax authorities and handle assessments, appeals, and litigations.
Experience Required: 10+ years of progressive experience in financial reporting and governance.
Academics: Chartered Accountant
Skills, Abilities and Competencies:
Technical knowledge of Ind As, SEBI LODR and Companies Act relevant to accounting and reporting
