Overview: You’ll own quality engineering for a large-scale, transaction-heavy, regulated platform business.

This role is for you if you:

• Have 20+ years in QA/Testing, with 8+ years leading teams/functions
• Come from BFSI / FinTech ecosystems (Bank, NBFC, Payments, Insurance, etc.)
• Have built and scaled enterprise-wide QA functions across multiple concurrent programs
• Have defined and implemented QA strategy, frameworks, and testing standards end-to-end
• Have experience with automation, performance, security, and large-scale system testing
• Can drive quality metrics, governance, and continuous improvement
• Can work closely with engineering to ensure high-quality, reliable, and maintainable systems
• Have led large QA teams across web, mobile, API testing (40+ size)

You’ll be responsible for:

• Owning QA strategy, processes, and delivery across the organization
• Building and leading a high-performing QA function (internal teams + vendors)
• Driving test strategy, planning, execution, and defect management
• Establishing quality metrics, reporting, and governance frameworks
• Ensuring robust test environments, data readiness, and coverage
• Partnering with engineering to embed quality across the development lifecycle

Important filters (please self-assess before applying):

• Must come from product/platform-led BFSI environments (not services/IT outsourcing)
• Experience in regulated, high-scale systems is essential
• Willing to relocate to Chennai
